West Jordan is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Viridian Event Center & West Jordan Library on Saturday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m., to be followed by the Summer Reading Kickoff Party from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The new building is located at 8030 South 1825 West at Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan. TD Gift Solutions, LLC and the So Long Summer planning committee are all working hard to get just the right amount of donations for the silent auction to be held at their gift show on October 6, 2012. All of the proceeds from the silent auction will go to a local Utah organization called Angel's Hands.org which seeks to help improve the quality of life of children with rare diseases.
AHF supports families in a variety of ways. Assisting families with medical expenses by paying off lingering medical bills and purchasing medical equipment not covered by insurance, has brought relief to families. Even with benefits, these families often struggle to give their children some of the simple joys in life. Hearing aids, wheel chairs, specialty strollers, special beds, braces, therapy spas, specialty bicycles, air conditioning and air filtration systems, special bath tubs, and many other items have been given to our children.
